Srinagar, February 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader and the Chief Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, Maulana Abbas Ansari has stressed the need of resolving the Kashmir dispute through result-oriented tripartite talks involving Pakistan, India and the true representatives of Kashmir.

Maulana Abbas Ansari addressing a function in Srinagar said that India was never serious in holding meaningful dialogue but only wanted to kill time and hoodwink the international community by calling for dialogue from time to time. »

Srinagar, February 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has condemned the repeated summoning of Dr Bilqees, the wife of illegally detained party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, by India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) to its head office in New Delhi for questioning.

The DFP General Secretary, Mohammad Abdullah Tari in a statement in Srinagar said that the purpose of such illogical actions of ED was to break the resolve of Shabbir Shah and to force him to give up his principled stance on the Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, February 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have strongly condemned the killing of innocent civilians by Indian troops in the territory.

The troops had killed two youth, Javaid Ahmed Butt (20) and Suhail Javaid Lone (24), and injured several others by opening indiscriminate fire on peaceful protesters in Ganowpora area of Shopian on Saturday (January 27). One of the critically injured Rayees Ahmed Ganai (19) succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Srinagar on Wednesday. »

New Delhi, February 01 (KMS): A Delhi court has rejected the bail plea of senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, in a false case of money laundering registered against him in 2007.

Additional Sessions Judge, Justice Sidharth Sharma, who had in August last year denied the relief to Shabbir Shah citing the ongoing probe, dismissed his fresh bail plea. »
