Shutdown continued in many areas

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, resistance leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik while paying tributes to three youth, martyred by Indian troops in Hakoora area of Islamabad district, have said that India and its local puppets are responsible for the unabated bloodshed in the Valley.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said that New Delhi had no option but to resolve the Kashmir dispute in its historical perspective. The Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that any delay in the resolution of the Kashmir dispute would lead to more death and destruction in the region. Muhammad Yasin Malik said that Indian rulers had engaged thousands of terrorists in uniform to kill Kashmiris with impunity. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS)): In occupied Kashmir, shutdown was observed in Srinagar and Ganderbal areas on the second consecutive day, today, against the killing of Eisa Fazili and two other youth by Indian forces in Hakoora area of Islamabad district, yesterday.

Markets were closed and transport was off the road in Srinagar and Ganderbal areas. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS)): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Kokernag area of Islamabad district, today, to mourn the killing of a local youth, Syed Owais Shafi, by Indian troops in the district, yesterday.

All shops, business establishments and schools are closed while traffic is off the road in Kokernag.

Owais Shafi along with two other youth Eisa Fazili and Sabzwar Ahmed Sofi was martyred by the Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Hakoora area of the district. Owais had completed his engineering degree, last year. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS)): In occupied Kashmir, a civilian was killed in a landmine explosion in Awantipora area of Pulwama district.

The civilian Ashiq Hussain Chopan, 25, was grazing his livestock when he came into contact with some object that exploded and injured him severely in Jawbara, near the firing range of the Indian Army, a police official said. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Deputy Grand Mufti, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam while condemning the recent killings has said that the Muslim majority Kashmir Valley continues to suffer at the hands of the repressive tactics of the Indian forces.

Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Unarmed youth are killed for no fault except they express anger like any other youth of their age would do so under such circumstances.” »

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said that the Indian authorities’ insensitivity and unconcern was the sole reason for this unabated bloodshed. “Instead of taking measures to resolve the Kashmir issue, Indian authorities want to thrust their choice through barrel of gun,” he maintained. Criticizing pro-India politicians, he said from the past seven decades, “These turncoats are deceiving Kashmiri people on one pretext or the other.” He also lashed out at the PDP puppet finance minister Haseeb Drabu for his statement that Kashmir is not a political, but a social issue. »
