Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that the Indian oppression has forced the people of Jammu and Kashmir to fight back with more will and vigor for liberation of their motherland from its illegal occupation.

Syed Ali Gilani while addressing the members of Majlis-e-Shoora of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar said that entire pro-freedom camp, especially Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, was facing testing times at the hands of Indian occupational forces. »

Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops have launched a massive cordon and search operation in Kupwara district.

The troops have cordoned off Halmatpora check area of the district and launched massive searches.

Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, forceful demonstrations erupted near Hangalgund in Kokernag area of Islamabad district, today, after a vehicle of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) hit a private vehicle ferrying school children.

Scores of locals assembled at main road Hangalgund in Kokernag and staged protests against the Indian forces. The protesters demanded stern action against the erring driver of the CRPF vehicle. »

Zafar Akbar Butt soon after his release, today, from prolonged house detention visited Balhama Khonmouh, met the families including those effected during recent crackdown operation by the troops and expressed solidarity with them. He appealed to the generous people to come to the rescue of the effected families whose properties were damaged. »

Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian soldier committed suicide in Kulgam district, raising the number of such deaths among Indian army to four during the current month in the territory.

The Indian soldier identified as Kulvinder Singh of 10 Sikh Regiment shot himself with his service rifle at a camp in Mughal Gund Qazigund area of the district, while he was on duty. »

Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the General Secretary of Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI-M) Sitaram Yechury has said that Modi-led Indian government is tackling the Kashmir dispute only through military means, and urged talks with all stakeholders including Pakistan to settle it.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Yechury said Kashmir is a political problem and till talks aren’t held with all the stakeholders, this issue can’t be resolved. »

Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Human Rights Commission sought the response of the puppet administration on why some families were asked to vacate their land at Lassipora in Pulwama.

Responding to an application filed by human rights activist, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, the court directed the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Commissioner Secretary Revenue and Deputy Commissioner Pulwama to file detailed compliance report within four weeks. »
