Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism have martyred four Kashmiri youth in Rajouri district, today.

The youth were killed by the troops during a siege and search operation at Ravarian Talla village, in Sunderbani of the district. »

Complete shutdown observed in Chadoora

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, it was resolved in a seminar in Srinagar that the best solution of the Kashmir dispute can be found only by holding a free, fair and impartial plebiscite in the territory in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.

The seminar among others was addressed by the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Mian Abdul Qayoom, Zafar Ahmad Shah and Ghulam Nabi Shaheen. The speakers said that the state repression could not subjugate the will of the people of occupied Kashmir fighting for their inalienable birth right. They emphasized that Kashmir freedom struggle was indigenous in nature and substance and it could not be linked to any kind of terrorism. The Indian propaganda against the Kashmir freedom struggle, they added, is mischievous and based on falsehood. The speakers were unanimous in their view that Kashmir had emerged as a major human tragedy, as the state repression was at its peak and the people were denied the basic human rights. »

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the speakers at a seminar in Srinagar have said that Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory, which needs to be resolved through a referendum on the principle of People’s right to self-determination.

The day-long seminar titled ‘The Right of Self-determination and Persistent Human Rights Violations in Kashmir’ was presided over by the President of the High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir, Muhammad Abdul Qayoom and moderated by HCBA General Secretary, Advocate G. N. Shaheen. It was organized by the Bar Association to commemorate the 22nd martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri human rights lawyer and political activist, Advocate Jalil Andrabi. Andrabi was detained by an Indian army officer, Major Avtar Singh, on March 8, 1996 in Srinagar and three weeks later, his body was found floating in the river Jhelum. »

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has said that the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri youth for a sacred cause will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing people at residence of martyred Syed Owais Shafi Shah in Wayul area of Islamabad district said that India would never succeed in suppressing the genuine and sacred struggle through the use of brute force. »

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, students of University of Kashmir staged protest against the disappearance of their fellow student, Sameer Ahmad Dar.

The MSc Geology student, Sameer Ahmad Dar went missing last week. Dar was last seen in campus on March 19.

Students from various departments assembled near Humanities Department and marched inside the campus, raising slogans. The protesting students urged the university administration to locate the missing student. »

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Chadoora area of Budgam district on the first anniversary of three youth killed in firing by Indian troops in the area, last year.

All shops and businesses establishments were shut in Chadoora town while public traffic remained off the roads in major areas like Wathoora, Chadoora and Nagam of the district.

Zahid Rashid Ganai, Amir Fayaz Waza, and Ishaq Ahmed Wani were killed and 35 others injured after the troops opened fire on protesters at Durbug in Chadoora on this day in 2017. »

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat Forum Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that Kashmir is purely a political and human issue and every effort to muzzle or crush the genuine struggle of the Kashmiris is destined to fail.

While chairing the Executive Council meeting of the Hurriyat Forum at its Rajbagh headquarters in Srinagar, Mirwaiz said the issue has to be resolved through a sustained dialogue with the active participation of India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir. »

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, puppet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has complained of India’s betrayal saying New Delhi has left the puppet administration alone in the time of crisis.

Mehbooba Mufti while addressing more than 700 Indian tourism delegates during a function in Srinagar said that Kashmir was caught in a quagmire of problems, but India had left them alone. She said that there were multiple ways of dealing with Kashmir problem, but nothing had been explored as a solution except the gun. »

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other Hurriyat organizations have paid rich tributes to Shafaat Wani, who was recently martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation at Wagoora in Baramulla district.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar said that insensitivity of the Indian authorities was the sole reason behind the unabated bloodshed in the occupied territory. »
