Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, prominent religious scholar and the Chairman of Ummat-e-Islami Qazi Yasir, condemning the ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir, has said that India has waged a war against the people of the territory.

Qazi Yasir addressing a public gathering in Islamabad town said, Kashmiris are being killed at free will by the Indian troops and the world community is maintaining a criminal silence on the issue. »

Uttar Pradesh, April 06 (KMS): India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) has picked up seven Kashmiri students from Jamia Arabia Madrasa in Banda district of Bundelkhand region in Uttar Pradesh.

A report published in New Indian Express said that an NIA team had visited the madrasa last month and arrested seven Kashmiri students. Before making the arrests, the agency officials had grilled the students along with madrasa coordinator on the campus. »

Authorities continue to detain Hurriyat leaders

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have imposed strict restrictions in most party of Srinagar and curfew in Kagan area of Ganderbal to prevent people from staging demonstrations against the recent killings by the Indian troops.

The Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has called for the demonstrations after Juma prayers, today, to condemn the killings and express solidarity with the families of the martyred youth. »

Islamabad, April 06 (KMS): Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed today across the country to condemn the ongoing Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and to express support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.

The decision to observe the Solidarity Day was taken by the Federal Cabinet at its meeting held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday following the killing of innocent people by the Indian troops in occupied Kashmir on Sunday. »

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of illegally detained Kashmiris lodged in various prisons including New Delhi’s Tihar jail.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar strongly denounced the prolonged and unlawful detention of senior APHC leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt. He said that Masarrat Aalam was languishing in jail since long and it was quite disheartening that he was being subjected to political vengeance by puppet authorities and despite court orders he was not released. »

Forces’ picket set ablaze in Srinagar

Srinagar, April 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, students hit streets in Srinagar, Bandipora, Kupwara and other parts of the territory, today, to condemn the killing of 19 youth by the Indian troops in South Kashmir.

The students of Central University of Kashmir, Kashmir University and different colleges held protests in many parts of the territory and raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. The agitating students offered funeral prayers in absentia for the martyred youth. They carried banners reading slogans like, ‘Stop Genocide’, ‘Free Kashmir’ and ‘Stop killings’ in Kashmir.

The students of Government Degree College Bemina and Amar Singh College Srinagar, Government Degree College Sumbal Bandipora, Degree College Kupwara and Degree Handwara took to streets to mourn the brutal killings. »
