Srinagar, May 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the members of the so-called fact-finding team, which submitted its report on the Kathua rape and murder case to the Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi, are linked with right-wing groups, the details gathered by Srinagar-based English daily, Greater Kashmir revealed.

The Group of Intellectuals and Academicians (GIA), which had set up the team, is seen close to the right-wing groups. The GIA functions in the past have been attended by the top RSS leaders. »

Srinagar, May 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani has said that senior resistance leader, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, is being subjected to political vendetta.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of Shabbir Ahmed Shah, who is languishing in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail. He said Shabbir Shah is suffering from several diseases and is not being provided with specific treatment. »

Srinagar, May 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Dialgam area Islamabad district, today, against the arrest of youth by the Indian forces during nocturnal raids.

The forces’ personnel have arrested five youth during the night raids in the area. A spontaneous shutdown is being observed in the area to protest against the arrests.

Indian forces’ vehicle crushes another to death

Srinagar, May 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred four Kashmiri youth in Srinagar, today.

The troops killed three youth during a violent cordon and search operation in Chattabal area of Srinagar. Earlier, an Indian soldier was injured in an attack in the same area.

Meanwhile, massive protests, marked by clashes between the demonstrators and the Indian forces’ personnel, erupted in Chattabal and its adjoining areas. Indian police and troops used brute force to disperse the protesters. The protests later spread to many other areas of Srinagar. A vehicle of Indian forces deliberately hit a civilian, Aadil Ahmed, during clashes in Safa Kadal area of Srinagar. Aadil was rushed to SMHS hospital but succumbed on the way. »

Demos, clashes as troops launch operation in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have detained senior resistance leaders, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, in Srinagar to prevent them from addressing a press conference, today.

The Indian police arrested Muhammad Yasin Malik after raiding his residence in Maisuma area of Srinagar, today, and shifted him to Kothibagh Police Station.

The authorities put Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest, today, while Syed Ali Gilani was already under house detention. »
