Srinagar, May 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Millat has expressed grave concern over the continued bloodshed of innocent youth by the Indian troops.

A DeM spokesperson in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Executive Council of the party met in Srinagar and discussed the prevailing situation in the Valley. “During the meeting the members castigated the authorities for jailing the party Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi, General Secretary, Nahida Nasreen, Press Secretary, Fehmeeda Sofi and two other women. It is nothing but a political vendetta, she added. »

Washington, D.C. May 11 (KMS): The President of Azad Kashmir Jammu Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, has said that the current Indian policy aim is to use brute force against the Kashmiris to break their will and impose collective punishment and to close all doors for talks with Pakistan and the Kashmiri leadership.

The AJK President said this while addressing a large gathering of Kashmiri expatriate in Washington. He said that in this situation it was all the more important for the Kashmiri diaspora to connect with the American Government and people to highlight the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. He appreciated the members of Kashmiri community for its unwavering commitment to the Kashmir cause in the US. He also commended them for the recent demonstration outside the White House which had attracted a large number of people including Kashmiri Americans and friends of Kashmir. »

Jammu, May 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the goons associated with extremist Hindu organizations ransacked a truck and set on fire another vehicle transporting bovines to the territory from Punjab.

The Lakhanpur police said that it had booked some people for ransacking a truck and setting ablaze another vehicle and beating a driver of a vehicle transporting the bovine. »

Srinagar, May 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, scores of parents from Safakadal area of Srinagar staged a protest in Press Enclave against a Mumbai based news channel for projecting their sons as stone-pelters on its primetime show.

The protesting parents said that the channel displayed the photographs of several youth, labeling them as “terrorists and stone-pelters”. »
