Srinagar, May 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged India to adopt a realistic and political approach to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

The APHC said this during its Executive Council meeting at Hyderpora in Srinagar, which was presided over by Chairman Syed Ali Gilani. A statement issued at the end of the meeting said the participants expressed serious concern over the ill-treatment meted out to Kashmiri detainees in Tihar jail.

Syed Ali Gilani while addressing a Nuzool-e-Quran function in Srinagar, today, said that Hurriyat was not against talks, but they should be meaningful and result-oriented. He said that 102 rounds of Pak-India talks were held in the past, but they failed to yield result. Others who attended the event included Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and Muhammad Ysasin Malik. »

Srinagar, May 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, 19 personnel of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force were injured in a road accident in Srinagar, today.

The CRPF Inspector General, Ravideep Sahi while talking to media men in Srinagar claimed that the mishap took place after some youth pelted stones on the vehicle.

“Nineteen paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured, one of them critically, after their vehicle met with an accident in Bemina area of Srinagar on Sunday,” he added. »

Srinagar, May 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the use of indiscriminate force including pellets on worshipers at historic Jamia Masjid, Srinagar.

The leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that areas around the mosque turned tense because of heavy deployment of forces personnel who fired teargas and pellets causing injuries to scores. »

Srinagar, May 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Srinagar has sought a report from a police pertaining to detention of notorious Indian Army Major, Leetul Gogoi in a Srinagar hotel.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the CJM issued the direction after hearing a petition filed by human rights activist and Chairman of International Forum of Justice (IFJ), Muhamamd Ahsan Untoo. The next hearing of the case has been fixed on May 30. »
