India must engage all stakeholders to prove seriousness: DFP » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, May 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has said if India is serious in talks it must engage all stakeholders of the Kashmir dispute.

The DFP Secretary General, Mohammad Abdullah Tari in a statement issued in Srinagar, reacting to Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement about talks, said Kashmiris have always maintained that all disputes are to be resolved through meaningful and result-oriented dialogue.

He said New Delhi must not use the term ‘talks’ only before media but it should use dialogue as an institution to resolve the long pending Kashmir dispute. The principal party of the Kashmir dispute, Kashmiri people, are looking for peace as they are the main sufferers of the dispute so dialogue should not be a mere photo session but it must lead to the resolution.

If the Indian Home Minister is serious in his statement he must order his forces to barracks and engage all the parties of the dispute and release all political prisoners so that a conducive atmosphere is made which can lead to a result-oriented dialogue, Moulana Tari said.
