Srinagar, May 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a special police officer (SPO) of Indian Police was critically injured after he was shot at by unknown gunmen in Pulwama district on Tuesday night.

Reports said that unknown gunmen fired upon the SPO in Awantipora, leaving him critically injured.

He was shifted to a nearby district hospital where from he was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.

Meanwhile, Indian Army, Special Operation Group of Police and CRPF cordoned off the area and launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
