Srinagar June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, unrelenting nocturnal raids, arrests of youth, summons to the police stations and vandalisation of property by the Indian forces have left the people in South Kashmir in constant state of fear and uncertainty.

People in most parts of South Kashmir are living in perpetual fear, as forces’ personnel have intensified their night raids in many areas. Dozens of youth have been arrested during these nocturnal raids. »

Srinagar June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, besides a large number of Hurriyat leaders and youth languishing in different jails, about 25 Kashmiri prisoners are facing life imprisonment in different jails in and outside the Valley.

The 25 lifers include two top political leaders Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo and Dr Shafi Shariati. Both Dr Fakhtoo and Dr Shariati have completed 25 years and 12 years of life in different jails respectively. They were lodged in Srinagar Central Jail but were shifted to different jails of Jammu in March this year. »

Srinagar June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have condemned the killing of Qaiser Butt in Nowhata area by running over an armored vehicle over a group of youth.

The spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) in a statement in Srinagar termed the mowing down of Kaisar Amin of Fateh Kadal to death as absolute brutality of Indian forces. »

Srinagar June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has termed the prevailing situation in the territory as worrisome and grim and said that in presence of over seven hundred thousand Indian troops the people are living a miserable life.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Kashmiris are facing horrendous situations, un-proportionate military might, detentions, desecration of religious places and unabated killings.” »

Srinagar June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, after 28 years, the Director General of Police (DGP), Kashmir, has forwarded the “Khanyar massacre” file to the Home Department of the territory for sanction to prosecute the accused in the case.

In a reply to a petition pending before the Human Rights Commission of the territory, the DGP submitted that the case file has been forwarded to the Home Department for accord of sanction for launching prosecution in the case registered at police station, Khanyar. »
