SPO, shot at in Pulwama, succumbs to his injuries

Srinagar, June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, three Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Forces personnel were injured when unknown persons lobbed a grenade at them in Srinagar on Saturday.

Grenade was lobbed at CRPF’s 82 battalion deployed in Fateh Kadal area of the city. One civilian was also injured in the attack.

Indian troops cordoned off the area to nab the attackers. The operation was going on when the last reports came in.

Meanwhile, a special police officer (SPO) who was injured critically after fired upon by unknown gunmen at Puchal area of Pulwama district last week, succumbed to injuries at Soura Hospital in Srinagar on Saturday evening.
