Resolution of disputes of Kashmir and Palestine demanded

Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir Day and Al-Quds Day, today, was marked by forceful anti-India and anti-Israel demonstrations and rallies across the territory. Indian troops injured and arrested several people after using brute force against the protesters.

Call for observance of the day was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik to impress upon the UN and the international community to fulfill their commitment to resolve the two disputes in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the World Body. People took to the streets in Srinagar, Badgam, Magam, Ganderbal, Shopian, Islamabad, Kokernag, Pulwama, Kulgam, Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla and other areas raising high-pitched pro-freedom, anti-India and anti-Israel slogans. »

Demands settlement of disputes of Kashmir and Palestine

Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the so-called authorities today barred the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani from offering Friday prayers in Hazratbal.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Syed Ali Gilani was stopped by the Indian police after he defied house arrest. “The police outside his residence did not allow him to venture out to march towards Hazratbal,” he said. »

Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that the people of Kashmir and Palestine desire to live with dignity, honor and freedom but the international community is denying them the basic rights.

Muhammad Yasin Malik addressing a mammoth public gathering at Charar-e-Sharief in Badgam, today, said that the Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom and self-determination was genuine and use of military might, political gimmicks or oppressive measures could not deter them from pursuing the sacred goal. »

Islamabad, June 08 (KMS): Speakers at a seminar held in Islamabad by the APHC-AJK at its office, today, strongly denounced the brutalities of Indian and Israeli forces against the innocent people of Kashmir and Palestine.

They said that India could not suppress the ongoing liberation movement by use of brute force. They said that India and its stooges in the territory were using all cheap means to harass the people of Kashmir and especially the youth but would never succeed in their nefarious designs. »

Jammu, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Amarnath Yatra this year will go hi-tech with Indian government and the puppet regime in coordination with each other deciding to install sophisticated gadgetry along the highways, base camps and yatra tracks, to constantly monitor the yatra vehicles and pilgrims

Media reports said this will be for the first time when such hi-tech security arrangements will be made for the yatra. »

Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian soldier was killed and another critically injured in an attack in Kupwara district.

Unknown gunmen attacked a patrol party of Indian Army in Keran area of Kupwara district, injuring two soldiers. One of the injured troops later succumbed to his injuries. »

Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League has paid rich tributes to the courage and steadfastness shown by the hundreds of illegally detained Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails and demanded their immediate release.

A JKML spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the detainees have shown great steadfastness and dedication towards the freedom struggle and are not losing the courage despite the hardship they face in jails. He said the sacrifices rendered by Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Aasiya Andrabi, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Dr Shafi Shariati, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Ayaz Akbar, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Peer Saifullah, Raja Merajuddin Kalwal, Muhammad Yousuf Mir, Assudullah Parrray, Ameer Hamza, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Muhammad Yousuf Falahi, Mir Hafeezullah, Shakeel Ahmed Butt, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Shahid Yousuf, Hakeem Showket, Merajiddin Nanda, Molvi Sajad, Fahmeeda Sofi, Nahida Nasreen, Fayaz Ahmed Talat, Basharat Ahmed, Muhammad Hayat Butt and others are praiseworthy. »

A resolution drafted by the JRL and calling for an end to military occupations in Kashmir and Palestine was presented and adopted in almost all mosques, shrines and imambargahs across the territory during Juma congregational prayers. »
