Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League has paid rich tributes to the courage and steadfastness shown by the hundreds of illegally detained Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails and demanded their immediate release.

A JKML spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the detainees have shown great steadfastness and dedication towards the freedom struggle and are not losing the courage despite the hardship they face in jails. He said the sacrifices rendered by Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Aasiya Andrabi, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Dr Shafi Shariati, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Ayaz Akbar, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Peer Saifullah, Raja Merajuddin Kalwal, Muhammad Yousuf Mir, Assudullah Parrray, Ameer Hamza, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Muhammad Yousuf Falahi, Mir Hafeezullah, Shakeel Ahmed Butt, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Shahid Yousuf, Hakeem Showket, Merajiddin Nanda, Molvi Sajad, Fahmeeda Sofi, Nahida Nasreen, Fayaz Ahmed Talat, Basharat Ahmed, Muhammad Hayat Butt and others are praiseworthy.

He demanded that all the prisoners should be released without any further delay and appealed to the international Human rights organizations to come to the rescue of these detainees.

The spokesman also paid glowing tributes to the youth recently martyred by the Indian troops in Tangdaar area of Kupwara district, saying that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste. He said the Kashmir youth are sacrificing their precious lives for a sacred cause and reiterated the pledge to take the mission of their martyrs to its logical conclusion at all costs.
