Indian policeman injured in Shopian attack » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a police constable of Indian police was injured after unknown gunmen opened fire on him in Shopian district on Wednesday night.

Reports said that the gunmen fired upon him at his home in Katho Hallan village of the district.

His sister also received minor injuries in the firing incident.

“Lone suffered serious bullet wounds and was shifted to the nearby district hospital where from he was referred to Srinagar in critical condition, said a police official.

His minor sister suffered bullet injury in her leg. Her condition is stated to be stable.

Meanwhile, Indian forces cordoned off the area and launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
