Civilian killed, two others injured in army firing in Pulwama » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, 15 June: (KMS) In occupied Kashmir, a civilian was killed and two others injured after Indian army personnel opened fire on peaceful protesters in Nowpora village of Pulwama district, today.

The troops of 55 RR opened fire after the residents resisted their attempts to vandalise the property of a local freedom fighter, Saju Mir.

Three persons, including a girl, were injured in the army action. The injured were rushed to hospital and the doctors at SMHS hospital in Srinagar declared Viqas Ahmad Rather (24) brought dead. The injured girl, identified as Ruqaya Jan, has received bullet injuries in hips.
