Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Muzahamat delegations visited different areas of Srinagar, Shopian and Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the families of the youth martyred by the troops.

The delegations were led by Sheikh Musaib and Shabir Ahmed Zargar.

Interacting with the family members of the martyrs, the Tehreek-e-Muzahamat leaders said that the Kashmiri martyrs had spilled their blood for a sacred cause and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. They said that the day was not far away when these huge sacrifices would bear fruit in the shape of an end of Indian occupation and arrival of dawn of freedom in occupied Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, hours before he fell to the bullets of unidentified gunmen, Rising Kashmir Chief Editor Shujaat Bukhari had posted the latest UN report on human rights violations in the territory.

Shujaat Bukhari, before his assassination, had also vigorously defended his work on Twitter when some Delhi-based journalists accused him of doing “biased” reportage on Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): A United Nations report has called for an international inquiry into human rights abuses in Kashmir and also advocated a ‘meaningful dialogue’ involving people of Jammu and Kashmir.

This is the first ever report UN has released on occupied Kashmir and Azad Jammu and Kashmir in the past 30 years.

The report’s focus was on the situation of human rights in occupied Kashmir from July 2016 to April 2018, during which widespread and serious human rights violations were received, notably excessive use of force by government forces on demonstrations that led to unlawful civilian killings and injuries. »
