Srinagar, June 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian forces have arrested over 130 mujahideen in past two years.

The figures compiled by Crime Branch (CB) of Police revealed that a total of 133 mujahideen have been arrested during 2016 and 2017. The data shows 49 mujahideen were arrested in 2016, while 84 were arrested in 2017.

It shows that 342 mujahideen have been killed during the two years, with highest 208 killed during 2017.

The data also marks 2017 as deadliest year in past seven years in Kashmir with over 200 mujahideen killed in the year during operations, the highest since 2010 when 270 mujahideen were killed.

The data reveals that no mujahid surrendered in 2017 while only one surrendered in 2016.
