Islamabad June 26 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, while condemning shock waves of state terrorism in occupied Kashmir has called upon the United Nations to look into the atrocities in the light of the recently-published report by the UN Human Rights Council and stop India from perpetrating these brutalities.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad urged the major powers, regional and European organisations and warring neighbours and parties to the dispute to open their eyes and mouths and speak on the worsening human rights situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

He asked whether the current war launched by the Hindutva regime of Delhi would ever bring peace and humanity back to the brutalized people of Kashmir. He opined that clarity in the political struggle of the Kashmiris meant nothing except freedom and right of self-determination according to the UN charter and its relevant resolutions.
