Truck carrying bovine to Kashmir set ablaze in Ramban » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, June 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a Hindu mob set ablaze a truck carrying bovine animals along Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The bovine-laden truck, which was on way to Kashmir, was stopped by the mob on the highway at Kohbag near Ramban last evening, a police official said, adding the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.

The mob set the vehicle ablaze following which the traffic on the highway remained suspended for nearly two hours and was restored only after hectic efforts by senior civil and police officials.
