Srinagar, June 4 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, clashes broke out between the Indian troops and youth in South Kashmir’s Pulwama on Monday soon after the reports that a local youth is among those killed by the troops in Tangdar area of Kupwara district, a few days ago.

Following the clashes, all shopkeepers closed their shutters and business establishments. Two families have claimed that two of the martyred youth Sheeraz Ahmad Sheikh and Mudassir Ahmad belonged to Lajoora and Parigam areas of Pulwama and Kulgam districts, respectively. »

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has expressed sympathy and solidarity with the families whose relatives were martyred in so-called Tangdar encounter after being dubbed as ‘foreign infiltrators’ by the Indian forces.

The JKDFP in a statement issued in Srinagar called upon the authorities to identify the bodies of the martyrs to lessen the grievances of the victim families. The party expressed anguish over dubbing of local youth as foreign infiltrators by the Indian army. »

Srinagar June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have strongly condemned the arrest of Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt, at New Delhi airport and described it as interference in religious affairs.

Zafar Akbar Butt along with his 80 years old mother was going to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage but the authorities at Delhi airport detained him despite he was with his elderly mother, who was on wheelchair. »

Srinagar June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have continued to condemn the crushing to death of a youth, Qaisar Butt, by a vehicle of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force and shelling on thousands of mourners at his funeral in Srinagar, recently.

The spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the incident as inhuman and cruel. He said that on one side India had announced so-called Ramadan ceasefire and on the other, the killing spree of innocent youth by Indian forces continued either by bullets, pellets or by crushing them under their vehicles. »

Anti-India protests in Pulwama, Kulgam

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has condemned the crushing of a youth, Qaisar Butt, to death by an Indian army vehicle saying that India is inventing new methods to carry out genocide of Kashmiri people in the territory.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar pointed out that besides spraying bullets and pellets, the Indian troops had started crushing the youth under their heavy vehicles. He said that India’s claim to be a big democracy was nothing but a deception. He emphasized that despite the Indian brutalities, the people of Kashmir would get rid of New Delhi’s forced slavery with utmost determination, discipline, dedication and unity. »
