Srinagar June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, New Delhi-based National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force conducted raids in Shopian and arrested many youth.

The youth were picked up by NIA during its raids in many areas of Shopian including Memander and Aliyarpora.

The raids were conducted after the arrest of one Tariq Ahmad Dar, 34, of Chillipura of Shopian, a few days ago.

Srinagar June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a local court granted seven-day police remand to illegally detained Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi, General Secretary, Nahida Naseen and Fahmeeda Sofi till June 9 in a fake case.

Police sought 15 days remand but the court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class granted the seven-day remand. It directed the police to produce the three before the court on June 9. »

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that frustrated by the unity of Kashmiri resistance leadership, India and its local collaborators are taking ultimate repressive measures to force people of Kashmir into submission.

The Mirwaiz in a statement in Srinagar condemned the imposition of curfew and other restrictions in the city and termed the measures as anti-people policies of the ruling regime. »

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani while strongly condemning the crushing of yet another youth by Indian armed forces under their vehicle has said that the troops are inventing new methods to genocide in the territory. Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said, “Fed up with the bullets and pallets, now the Indian rulers have started crushing Kashmiri youth under their heavy vehicles.” »

SPO, shot at in Pulwama, succumbs to his injuries

Srinagar, June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, three Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Forces personnel were injured when unknown persons lobbed a grenade at them in Srinagar on Saturday.

Grenade was lobbed at CRPF’s 82 battalion deployed in Fateh Kadal area of the city. One civilian was also injured in the attack.

Indian troops cordoned off the area to nab the attackers. The operation was going on when the last reports came in. »

Srinagar, June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a youth was crushed to death while another sustained injuries after being run over by a vehicle of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Nowhatta area of Srinagar.

People staged a forceful demonstration outside Srinagar’s Jamia Masjid at Nowhatta after Juma prayers, yesterday, against the desecration of the grand mosque by the Indian police, last Friday. Soon a speedy CRPF vehicle that came from Khanyar drove into the protesters. The CRPF vehicle, according to eyewitnesses, in order to move out of the demonstration sped on, knocking down two boys Younis Ahmed and Qaiser Butt. They were rushed to Soura Institute of Medical Sciences where Qaiser succumbed to his injuries, early morning today. »

Srinagar June 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, dozens of people were injured when Indian troops and police personnel used brute force on the funeral of a martyred youth in Srinagar, today.

The youth, Qaiser Butt, in a new tactic of genocide by India, was deliberately run over by a vehicle of Indian Central Reserve Police Force in Nowhatta area of Srinagar during a demonstration, yesterday. He was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries early morning today.

The puppet authorities imposed curfew and restrictions in Srinagar, today, to prevent people from attending the funeral prayers of the youth and staging demonstrations against his killing. Defying curfew and restrictions, thousands of people took part in the funeral prayers of Qaiser Butt first at Fateh Kadal Chowk and later at Eidgah in Srinagar. »
