Mohammad Yasin Malik on the occasion addressing a condolence meeting said that one more innocent child was killed by Indian troops in Kashmir but no one seemed to bother or feel any regret on the human tragedy. »

Srinagar July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has urged the world community and human rights organizations to play role in stopping the ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in an extra-ordinary meeting with JKPL members Nisar Ahmad Rather, Riyaz Ahmad Dar, Aijaz Mir, Fayaz Ahmad and Shabbir Ahmad at his Kadipora residence in Islamabad said everyday Kashmir witnesses killing of children and youth, harassment, frequent searches and cordon operations. “It is high time world community intervenes and urges New Delhi to stop killing Kashmiris and resolve the dispute as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people. »

Indian Army Chief’s assertions resented

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred thirty three Kashmiris including four young boys during the last month of June.

According to the data released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those martyred, three youth were killed in a fake encounter in Kupwara. The killings rendered three women widowed and four children orphaned. During the period, 236 people were injured due to the use of brute force by the Indian army and paramilitary forces while 176 persons were arrested in house raids and crackdown operations. The troops also damaged 22 residential houses during the month. »

Srinagar July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a joint patrolling party of Indian police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force came under an attack in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, today.

Reports said that the patrolling party was attacked in Dalipora village of the district.

However, no loss of life or injury has been reported in the incident.

Srinagar July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed anguish over the Indian Army Chief, General Bipin Rawat’s statement about his ‘people-friendly’ military operations and termed it as a cruel joke.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said that on one hand the Indian forces had waged a war against the people of Kashmir where killing, maiming, frequent arrests and torture had become a routine matter and on the other the Indian army general termed the inhuman and vile operations as people-friendly. »

Srinagar July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Faroaoq has said that the killing spree cannot break the Kashmiris’ resolve and would continue their struggle till complete success.

Srinagar July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has termed the registration of an FIR against Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) ailing Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi and her close aides Nahida Nasreen and Fahmeeda Sofi as an act of vengeance.

The HCBA in a statement in Srinagar said, “Instead of arresting, detaining and registering false and frivolous FIRs against the DeM leaders, the authorities should have released them keeping in view the ailment of Aasiya Andrabi and the tender age of Fahmeeda Sofi.” »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, on his 12th death anniversary the family of a musician, Inayatullah Butt, killed by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) battalion stationed just outside his home in Srinagar in 2006, has decried delay in justice.

Inayatullah Butt, a resident of Munwarabad locality of Srinagar was killed for mere demanding money. “He had only demanded money for the bread. In return he received bullets,” said Butt’s brother Rais Ahmad. »
