Srinagar July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik along with Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and Rameez Raja visited the residence of martyred Fiaizaan Ahmad Poswal and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Mohammad Yasin Malik on the occasion addressing a condolence meeting said that one more innocent child was killed by Indian troops in Kashmir but no one seemed to bother or feel any regret on the human tragedy.

He said that on one hand innocents are killed on daily basis and on the other Indian rulers are employing every tactic to suppress peaceful voices of Kashmiris. The Indian NIA, ED, police and other agencies are being used to intimidate and suppress political struggle of Kashmiris, he deplored.

He said that arbitrary arrests, nocturnal raids, brutal killings, maiming and humiliating people had become the main features of Indian democracy in Kashmir as Indian rulers intended to defeat Kashmiri resistance by such tactics.

The JKLF chairman said that bloodshed and intimidations had not and could never suppress or halt the genuine struggle of Kashmiris for freedom and self-determination and Kashmiris who had pledged to attain their birthright could not be defeated by such undemocratic and tyrannical measures.

He said that two days ago another township in Pulwama was besieged, vandalized, its inhabitants tortured, showered with bullets and pellets killing innocent Faizan Ahmad Poswal and injuring many. He said that the tragic part of this agony is that a father who was treating the victims of Indian oppression as a doctor had to declare his own teenager son dead and wrap him in white shrouds.

Meanwhile, delegations of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Freedom League also visited the martyr’s family.
