Srinagar, July 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Ghulam Nabi Sumji has expressed grave concern over horrendous situation as a result of deployment of heavy contingents of military and police force against the civil population.

Ghulam Nabi Sumji in a statement issued in Srinagar said that during nocturnal raids dozens of political leaders and activists were subjected to humiliation, third degree torture and inhuman treatment. »

Srinagar, July 02 (KMS): A special contingent of about 500 women of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been brought to occupied Kashmir to tackle protest demonstrations.

The women personnel, largely in constable ranks, are based at Central Reserve Police Force recruit training centre at Humhama in Srinagar.

An officer told newsmen the women, after their 45-day training will be deployed in the Valley to tackle protesters including women. »

Srinagar, July 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, claiming that the youth killed by Indian forces in Tunga Top forest area of Kupwara district on June 29 was their son, Mudasir Ahmad Butt, family members and relatives held a protest at Press Enclave Srinagar to demand the body of Mudasir.

Ghulam Ahmad Butt, Mudasir’s father, said that Mudasir left his home in Old Barzulla Srinagar in December 2016 for some work. He stayed in touch with family members on phone, but in January his phone became switched off. The family then registered a missing report in Sadder police station. »
