Srinagar, July 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, delegations of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement and Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League visited the residence of a fake encounter victim, Mudassir Ahmad Butt at Barzulla in Srinagar to express solidarity with the bereaved family.

Mudassir Ahmad Butt and another youth from Kulgam district were killed by the Indian troops in a fake encounter in Kupwara district, last month.

The JKSM delegation headed by its Chairman Zafar Akbar Butt demanded mortal remains of the martyred youth for proper burial. On the occasion, Zafar Akbar Butt said that the people of Kashmir were duty-bound to safeguard the sacrifices of their martyrs till the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination.

A JKSM delegation led by Khan Nisar also visited Chogul village of Handwara and offered heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the family of another martyr Sajjad Ahmad. Another delegation led by Ghazi Javed visited Soura Hospital in Srinagar to inquire the health condition of an injured youth, Ubaid Ahmad.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League headed by party General Secretary Muhammad Rafiq Ganai also visited Mudassir’s family. The delegation also included Sajjad Ayubi, Hilal Ahmad and Mukhtar Ahmad Butt.

On the other hand, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited the injured at a hospital in Srinagar, today. These people were injured in firing by the Indian troops on protesters in Pulwama, recently. Waza also expressed solidiarity with the families of the victims of Kupwara fake encounter.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir in a statement condemned the police raid on the house of a party leader, Manzoor Ahmad, in Kupwara district.
