Srinagar, July 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Muslim League, Voice of Victims and other Hurriyat organizations have condemned the civilian killings in Kulgam as well as arrest and shifting of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chief, Aasiya Andrabi, and her associates to New Delhi.

The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, addressing party members in Srinagar said that Indian forces had been given a license to kill the innocent and unarmed Kashmiri people. He strongly condemned the arrest and shifting of Aasiya Andrabi and her two associates, Nahida Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sofi to New Delhi. »

HCBA seeks body to probe actual number of pellet victims

Srinagar, July 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has reserved its judgment on a fresh contempt petition against shifting of Hurriyat leader, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, from Srinagar central jail to Udhampur Jail in Jammu.

Advocate Mian Abdul Qayoom, who is also the President of High Court Bar Association, representing Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, approached the court with a fresh contempt petition against the occupation authorities by arguing that the petitioner had been shifted to Udhampur Jail in contempt to the High Court, which in 2003 had directed the authorities to lodge the petitioner in Srinagar central jail. »

Indain army officer two injured in Shopian clash

Srinagar, July 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a teenage student of 11th class who suffered bullet injuries at the hands of Indian troops succumbed at a hospital in Srinagar, today.

The student youth, Ubaid Manzoor Lone, who sustained critical injuries during Indian forces’ firing in Nadihal, Sopore area of Baramulla district on June 25 died at Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar after battling for life for 15 days. »
