Srinagar, July 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the son and wife of Hurriyat leader, Peer Saifullah, have appealed to the international human rights organisations to help release the ailing leader from illegal detention.

Almost a year ago, Peer Saifullah was called to Humhama area of Srinagar, taken into custody and shifted to New Delhi by the sleuths of India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA). Since then, he has not spoken to his two-member family in Srinagar.

Peer Saifullah, a resident of Zadora in Pulwama, is a member of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir. Following his arrest on July 24, 2017 by the NIA, he has been languishing in New Delhi’s Tihar jail.
