Hurriyat leaders condole with Mukhtar Ahmed Sofi » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, July 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have condoled with senior resistance leader, Mukhtar Ahmed Sofi, on the sad demise of his father in Malakhnag area of Islamabad district.

The spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) in a statement issued in Srinagar, paying tributes to the deceased, hailed his role in the ongoing resistance movement. He prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience.

The spokes also condoled with the DFP activist, Bilal Ahmad Wagay, on demise of his mother.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, speaking to mourners at the residence of Mukhtar Ahmed Sofi in Islamabad, expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He was accompanied by Hurriyat leader, Javaid Ahmed Mir, and human rights activists, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo.
