Delhi court sends Aasiya to Tihar Jail

Srinagar, July 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one more youth in Kupwara district, today.

The youth was killed during a violent operation by Indian Army in Safawali Gali area of the district. Two Indian troops were injured in an attack during a cordon and search operation in the same area.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the summoning of an accredited journalist, Aaqib Javed by the Indian National Investigation Agency to New Delhi terming it a ploy to frighten the journalist fraternity. The APHC appealed to the United Nations Human Rights Commission to take cognizance of the plight of Kashmiri resistance leaders, lodged in Delhi’s Tihar jail. »

Srinagar, July 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has expressed concern over the prevailing situation and said that India is using its institutions to intimidate Kashmiri people.

Srinagar, July 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, in the first-ever mass marriage, as many as 105 couples tied the knot in a simple function in Amar Singh Club in Srinagar. The couples belonged to various parts of north Kashmir including Srinagar.

Ghulam Rasool Chakan, who organized the function told media that “It is the first such mass marriage.”

“In this mass marriage, we have couples from Uri, Sumbal, Pattan, Beerwa, Budgam, Khan Sahab, Baramulla and even from Srinagar,” Chakan said. »
