Srinagar, July 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC), Shabbir Ahmed Dar, has said that the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiris for a sacred cause will not go waste.

Shabbir Ahmed Dar presiding over a party meeting in Srinagar, today, said that JKMC came into being only for one purpose and that is seeking permanent solution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

He said the JKMC is committed to its resolution passed on July 19 in 1947 by its founding fathers. He said that the mission of Kashmiri martyrs would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs. “The commitment and conviction of Kashmiri people to take the mission of their martyrs to its logical end is laudable and a clear signal to Indian policy makers that Kashmiris will not rest till the goal of freedom is achieved,” he added.

Shabbir Dar said, the international community cannot overlook the sacrifices of Kashmiri people and it is its responsibility to respect their sentiment and help settle the lingering dispute.

The meeting was attended by party leaders Muhammad Sultan Magrey, Merajuddin Saleh, Nazir Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed Mir, Muhammad Shafi Mir, Muhammad Sultan Ganai and Bashir Ahmed Gojri.

Muhammad Sultan Magrey and Merajuddin Saleh also addressed on the occasion.
