Thousands attend funerals of martyrs

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued act of state terrorism martyred three youth at Khudwani in Kulgam district, today.

The youth were killed during a cordon and search operation by the troops in the district. However, Indian army claimed that the youth were killed during a gunfight with the forces. The killings triggered shutdown in the district. The authorities snapped mobile Internet services in the twin districts of Islamabad and Kulgam to prevent anti-India protests.

Thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of the two martyred youth identified as Suhail Ahmad and Mudassar Butt in Redwani and Katrasoo areas of Kulgam district. Three mujahideen turned up at the funeral in Redwani and fired several shots in the air to offer salute to the martyrs. They also raised pro-freedom, pro-Islam and anti-India slogans. The third martyred youth was identified as Abu Muawiya. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have paid glowing tributes to the three martyrs of Kulgam and said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not go waste.

The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar, paying tributes to the Kulgam martyrs, said that the intransigence of India had complicated the Kashmir dispute because it wanted military solution of the dispute. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people on Sunday participated in the last rites of the martyred youth in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Thousands of people assembled in Redwani and Katrasoo villages of the district to take part in the last rites of the two of martyrs Suhail Ahmad and Mudassar Butt. Three mujahideen turned up at the funeral of Suhail Ahmad at Redwani and fired several shots in the air. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Masarrat Aalam Butt was brought from Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu, to Srinagar for hearing of a fake case lodged against him in Nowhatta Police Station, Srinagar.

Masarrat Aalam Butt was produced before Additional District and Session Judge where he heard the arguments. After hearing, the Masarrat was taken back to Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu, party spokesman Sajad Ayubi said. He added that prolonging the illegal detention of Masarrat showed their frustration. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has castigated the Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) for not presenting detainees in court, saying it is prolonging their cases on one pretext or the other.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri prisoners lodged in different jails and particularly in Tihar jail. It said: “Those arrested by NIA and ED are facing toughest times of their lives as they are not being presented on scheduled dates for hearing in respective courts. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has termed the brutal killing of minor boy of Kupwara, Umar Farooq as the murder of humanity and demanded stern punishment to the people involved in the heinous crime.

The Hurriyat forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said that unidentified people first kidnapped minor Umar and then brutally killed him and later threw his body on road which is condemnable. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has urged Indian leadership to shun its stubborn, haughty and colonial attitude and come forward for sorting out all outstanding issues with Pakistan particularly the Kashmir dispute.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar called for an end to hostility between India and Pakistan, and said, “The revival of composite dialogue among all stakeholders would end the hostility between two nuclear countries and open avenues for peace and reconciliation in South Asia.” »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a 40- year-old man, Javed Ahmed Malik was killed by Indian police in custody in Chatroo area of Kishtwar District.

Javed Ahmed Malik son of Mohammad Khalil Malik, who was a resident of Baharat, Doda, was murdered at Chatroo police station in the district on Friday. His killing is second death in police custody in less than one week period. »
