Srinagar, July 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association has expressed serious concern over the worsening conditions of Srinagar Central Jail and the undue shifting of prisoners to prisons in far-flung areas of Jammu region.

An HCBA spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Jail inmates are being provided inadequate and poor quality food. They are denied medical aid and are not even produced in courts on scheduled dates. They have been left with no option but to go on an indefinite hunger strike.” »
