Pledge to carry forward martyrs’ mission reaffirmed » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, July 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations while paying rich tributes to three youth martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation at Khudwani in Kulgam district have vowed to protect the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs and take their mission to its logical end at all costs.

The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the blood of innocent Kashmiri youth was being spilled like water by Indian troops in the occupied territory.

He said that India wanted to suppress the Kashmir dispute with military might but failed to subdue the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiri people over the past seven decades.

The forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement in Srinagar said that the Kashmiri youth were sacrificing their lives for a great and sacred cause and it was the collective responsibility of the Kashmiri people and the resistance leadership to protect these sacrifices and take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical end.

The forum said that using military might to crush the popular people’s sentiments had never succeeded as witnessed in various global struggles and that the people of Kashmir irrespective of their age and gender were fully committed towards the ongoing movement and were offering sacrifices of every nature to achieve their birthright.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt, Tehreek-e-Wahdat Islami and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations in their separate statements also paid tributes to the youth martyred in Khudwani area of Kulgam.

Meanwhile, delegation of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat and Salvation Movement visited Khudwani and expressed solidarity with the families of the martyred youth.
