Srinagar, July 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops have launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Balgarden area of Srinagar.

Indian troops and paramilitary and police personnel cordoned off Balgarden area, today, and started house-to-house searches, causing huge inconvenience to the people.

Locals told media that large contingents of Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operations Group (SOG) of police cordoned off the area and started searches, triggering panic among people.

Witnesses said that the forces’ personnel started cordon and search operation by checking vehicles and frisking pedestrians.
