Srinagar, August 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Personal Law Board at a meeting has decided to dissolve its administrative body with immediate effect to reconstitute a new one.

The JKMPLB in a statement issued in Srinagar said that till the new body was reconstituted and responsibilities assigned, no individual or a member would be authorized to issue any statement in the press or share any post on social media on behalf of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Personal Law Board. The step has been taken to overhaul the organization, it added. »

Srinagar, August 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqi, has said that the Kashmiri youth are rendering their precious lives for the sacred cause of freedom and their supreme sacrifices will not be allowed to go waste.

Bilal Ahmed Siddiqi along with a party delegation visited Rambagh area of Srinagar and expressed solidarity with the family of martyred youth, Mudassir Ahmed Butt. Speaking on the occasion, Bilal Siddiqi paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth. »

Srinagar, August 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, members of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coordination Committee (JKCSCC) have submitted an application of intervention against the petition filed by an NGO ‘We The Citizens’ for abrogation of Article 35-A in the Supreme Court of India.

In their joint application of intervention before the Indian Supreme Court three members of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coordination Committee, Mir Javaid Advocate, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, the Deputy Grand Mufti, and Jagmohan Singh Raina, Chairman of All Party Sikh Coordination Committee, have sought dismissal of the petition filed for abrogation of Article 35-A. »

Srinagar, August 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have expressed the resolve to protect Article 35-A from any onslaught by Hindu extremist government in New Delhi.

An extraordinary meeting of members and activists of Awami Action Committee (AAC), led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, was held at Rajouri Kadal in Srinagar. The meeting held threadbare discussions over the ploys aimed at damaging Kashmir’s state subject and hereditary laws. A pledge was taken to fight tooth and nail all such moves. The participants of the meeting said that the move to challenge the validity and legality of Article 35-A was actually to pave way for the settlement of non-Kashmiri residents in occupied Kashmir thus changing the demographic composition of the territory. »

Strike in Kupwara, Trehgam, Kalaroos, Lolab

Srinagar, August 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more youth in Sopore, today.

The troops killed the youth during a cordon and search operation in Drusoo area of Sopore. The operation was going on in the area when reports last came in.

On the other hand, the occupation authorities have suspended mobile Internet services in Baramulla and Kupwara districts and ordered closure of educational institutions in Sopore area. »

Srinagar, August 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have booked Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) leader, Umar Aadil Dar, under black law, Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged him at Kathua Jail in Jammu.

Umar Aadil Dar was arrested by the Indian policemen posted in civvies outside district court in Islamabad district on Wednesday. He along with APHC leader, Hakeem Abdur Rasheed, was taken into custody by the police when a six member delegation of Joint Resistance Leadership was on its way to Islamabad town to address a public gathering. However, later Hakeem Rasheed was released while Aadil Dar was booked under the PSA on Thursday. »
