Srinagar, August 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Gujjar and Bakerwal tribal communities have demanded a judicial inquiry into the gruesome killing of a cattle trader and injuries to another in Indian army firing in Gool area of Ramban district.

A spokesman for the communities in a statement in Jammu said that killing of a cattle trader Mohammad Rafiq Gujjar and injuring Shakeel Ahmad, both residents of Gool is highly condemnable which needs to be investigated thoroughly.

The community members were reacting on media reports whereby it has been said that both nomad Gujjars were fired upon by the Indian forces when they were leaving Kohli village around 4:00am with their cattle.

In an email, to Defence Minister of India the Gujjar community members demanded that culprit must be punished as per law in vogue. The community demanded that a strong directive must be issued to forces so that more such incidents do not occur in tribal areas of anymore.
