Srinagar, August 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, has said that durable peace in South Asia is not possible without amicable settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute.

Mukhtar Ahmed Waza addressing a gathering in Larnoo Kokernag area of Islamabad district said Kashmir is a political and humanitarian dispute and can be resolved through a meaningful dialogue among Pakistan, India and the people of Kashmir in line with the relevant UN resolutions.

Paying rich tributes to prominent martyred leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz, he said that he offered unprecedented and unparalleled sacrifice of life for a great cause and his services and contribution for the Kashmir cause would always be remembered.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Tehreeq-e-Istiqamat led by Chairman Ghulam Nabi War visited Kalaroos and Shadmukam Lolab areas and expressed solidarity with the families of youth recently martyred by Indian troops in a cordon and search operation at Khumbriyal Lolab.

On the occasion, Ghulam Nabi War paid glowing tribute to the martyred youth. He said that the sacrifices offered by the martyrs would not go waste and their mission would be taken into its logical conclusion at all costs.
