Srinagar, August 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Teheek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir held a founding day session in Srinagar, today, on the occasion of death anniversary of its founder Syed Sadiq Rizvi.

The Chairman of the party, Nisar Hussain Rather chaired the session while office-bearers and members of the party in large number participated in the ceremony.

Molvi Mohammad Isamil, Hakeem Ghulam Hussain, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Nazir Saifullah and Khadim Hussain addressing on the occasion threw light on the life of Syed Sadiq Rizvi and praised his services for the party.

They also greeted the government and people of Pakistan on their Independence Day to be celebrated on August 14 and prayed for prosperity, integrity and solidarity of Pakistan. They said that Pakistan after coming into being has been providing moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmir and expressed the hope that it would continue it till taking the liberation movement to its logical conclusion.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem Azadi Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar also congratulated Pakistan on its Independence Day and prayed for its development.

He hoped that the new government in Pakistan would continue its support to the people of Kashmir and would raise the Kashmir dispute on all national and international forums.
