Woman among 5 injured in Indian troops’ firing

Srinagar, August 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, unidentified gunmen killed a youth in Pulwama district, last night.

The 24-year-old Gulzar Ahmad Butt was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Sunday night when he was parking his vehicle near his house in Bonpora Murran area of the district.

Butt, who worked as a salesman at a medical store in Bijbehara, received 10 bullets in the firing by the unknown gunmen, a senior police official told media.

On the other hand, body of one missing Danish Parry was retrieved from Mutalhama in Kulgam district. Danish Parray was reported missing on August 7. “A missing report was lodged on the same day at police station Kulgam,” said the official.

Meanwhile, five people including a 65-year-old woman Saja Begum was injured after Indian troops fired pellets on protester during cordon and search operation at Sirnoo area of Pulwama district. The injured were shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
