Srinagar, August 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have congratulated the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman, Imran Khan, on becoming Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had dreamt for politically and economically stable Pakistan and Prime Minister, Imran Khan would realize this dream.

He hoped Pakistan would continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to the oppressed people of Kashmir and would raise the Kashmir dispute at every international forum.

Hurriyat leaders, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash and Javaid Ahmad Mir in a joint statement in Srinagar felicitated Imran Khan for taking oath as the prime minister of Pakistan and hoped that he would take solid steps for just and lasting solution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

The patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Farida Bahenji in her statement in Srinagar, congratulating Imran Khan, said that he would make efforts for the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
