‘Syed Ali Gilani is unwell due to illegal house detention’ » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, August 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the continued house detention has taken a severe toll on the health of chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference,  Syed Ali Geelani  who is not keeping well for the past few days.

Syed Ali Gilani’s son Syed Naseem Geelani talking to media men in Srinagar said that Syed Ali Gilani is showing signs of weakness and appears exhausted. “The continuous house detention has taken a severe toll on his health,” he said.

The son  of the leader said that earlier this week, Gilani complained of heaviness in the chest. He was taken to a private hospital for medical check-up. After several tests, the doctors recommended that Gilani be taken to institute of Institute of Medical Sciences Soura hospital in Srinagar.

“The test reports at the private hospital showed no signs of any medical problem. The doctors referred him to Institute of Medical Sciences Soura for a pacemaker check up,” Syed Naseem Gilani said.

A team of doctors in Soura hospital conducted a check-up of Gilani’s pacemaker and he was administered some medicines, Naseem Gilani said. The Hurriyat chairman had also complained of severe stomach ache and was injected several medicines by doctors.
