JKPL condemns continued detention of party chairman » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, August 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has strongly condemned the continued house detention of its Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza.

The JKPL in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the continued house arrest of Mukhtar Waza as political vengeance and frustration of the occupation authorities.

The statement demanded immediate release of the JKPL Chairman and other illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the territory.
