Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations have condemned the killing of youth by Indian troops in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, today.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a tweet message said, “Yet another bloody day in Kashmir, six more youth killed for involvement in resistance struggle based on justice. Our youth are being selectively killed and cordon and search operations are being carried out in a prolonged manner. The killings are an eye-opener for the international community.” »

JRL calls for complete shutdown in IOK on Monday

Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred six youth in Chowgam area of Kulgam district, today.

The troops killed five youth Gulzar Ahmed Padder, Faisal Ahmed Rathar, Zahid Ahmed Mir, Masroor Ahmed Molvi and Zahoor Ahmed Lone during a cordon and search operation. People took to the streets and held massive anti-India demonstrations in the area. Indian troops and police personnel fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, killing one more youth, Rauf Ahmed, and injuring dozens others. Some of the critically injured youth were shifted to various hospitals in Srinagar for specialized treatment. »

Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC), Shabbir Ahmed Dar, from his residence in Sopore during a nocturnal raid.

The JKMC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said Shabbir Ahmed Dar is suffering from blood pressure and heart ailment but was not allowed even to take medicine along. »

Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, family of a youth, Feroz Ahmed Hajam, has said that he didn’t cut his throat but Indian troops attempted to murder him.

Indian police had claimed that Feroz Ahmed Hajam had tried to commit suicide inside a washroom after he was called for questioning. Feroz is battling for life at a hospital in Srinagar.

Feroz Ahmed Hajam in a statement, which he himself penned down on a paper, said that he was detained near Khanabal Dak Bungalow by the personnel of Special Operations Group (SOG) of Indian police who bungled him up in a police vehicle instantly and whisked him away on September 5. »

Leeds, September 15 (KMS): A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Right to Self-Determination Movement International led by its Chairman, Raja Najabat Hussain, met the shadow foreign minister of the Britain, Fabian Hamilton, and apprised him of the Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.

A statement issued by the JKSDMI after the meeting said that the delegation told the shadow foreign minister that India had been hatching conspiracies to change the demographic composition of Jammu and Kashmir. It said that the members of the delegation asked him to support the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination movement and raise voice for the oppressed Kashmiris in and outside the British Parliament. »

Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, in Islamabad town, today.

The police took Mukhtar Ahmad Waza into custody from his residence in the town and put him under detention.

Meanwhile, the JKPL spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the detention of Mukhtar Waza, terming it as political vengeance and frustration on part of the occupation authorities.

Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops ransacked the house of close relatives of noted freedom activist, Riyaz Naikoo, during a nocturnal raid in Pulwama district.

The troops raided the joint house of two brothers, Nisar Ahmed and Nazir Ahmed, in Beigpora village in Awantipora area of the district late Friday night and ransacked it. »

New Delhi, September 15 (KMS): The illegally detained senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, fainted during an ongoing trial conducted via video conferencing from Tihar Jail.

Shabbir Shah while appearing in the trial conducted by a court in New Delhi, lost consciousness for a few minutes, family members of the detained leader told media men. »

Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik will soon start a sustained election boycott campaign on social media with only one key slogan – ‘No election, only right to self-determination’.

This was announced by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while addressing a gathering in Srinagar. He said New Delhi must understand that it can no longer woo people through cheap slogans of sarak, bijli, pani (roads, electricity and water) as Kashmiris are not interested in any polls – local bodies, panchayat, Kashmir Assembly or Indian Parliament. “All elections announced for Kashmir are nothing but a farce aimed at diluting the basic nature of Kashmir dispute,” he pointed out. »
