Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops ransacked the house of close relatives of noted freedom activist, Riyaz Naikoo, during a nocturnal raid in Pulwama district.

The troops raided the joint house of two brothers, Nisar Ahmed and Nazir Ahmed, in Beigpora village in Awantipora area of the district late Friday night and ransacked it.

A local said the the troops barged inside the houses of Nazir Ahmed Naikoo and Nisar Ahmed Naikoo and carried out searches. During the searches, the local said that the troops ransacked the household goods.

Meanwhile, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in Cheribugh area of Tral town in the district. Locals said that the troops sealed all the entry and exit points of the area and conducted searches many times.

The troops also carried out a massive search operation in Sunari, Kembal and adjoining areas in Udhampur district of Jammu.
