Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, speakers at a seminar in Srinagar, today, criticized India for walking away from the talks, offered by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, to his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi.

The event was organized , held at the Hyderpora residence of Syed Ali Gilani to pay tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions. In his address, Syed Ali Gilani reiterated his call for boycott of the upcoming election drama. He ruled out any solution to the Kashmir dispute unless India accepted Kashmir as a dispute. »

Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and senior APHC leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Bandipora and Tral.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had converted Jammu and Kashmir into a slaughter house and the human blood was being shed like water. He said that the people of Kashmir had been struggling for their birthright to self-determination but the Indian forces were suppressing them through use of brute force. »

Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one youth in Tral area of Pulwama district, today.

The youth was killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Aripal area of Tral town. The troops also destroyed a house during the operation. The killing of the youth led to clashes between protesters and the Indian forces in the town. The troops fired teargas shells while youth pelted them with stones. Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement paid tributes to the martyr and said that India had converted Jammu and Kashmir into a slaughter house. »

The youth was killed by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Dar Ganai Gund village of Aripal area of Tral, early morning.

The troops also destroyed a house during the operation.

The killing led to clashes between protesters and the troops in Tral area of Pulwama district. The troops fired tear gas shells while youth pelted them with stones.

Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has demanded of the UN Human Rights Council to establish a fact-finding commission to conduct probe into gross human rights violations by Indian occupational forces in the territory.

A Hurriyat forum spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the demand was made by the Hurriyat-AJK leader, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi during a meeting with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, on the sidelines of 39th session of UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. »

Firdous Ahmad Shah, son of Bashir Ahmad Shah, and Aadil Hussain, son of Ghulam Mohammad, both residents of Shatmuqam, Lolab, were slapped with PSA and sent to Kot Bhalwal jail. »
