Denial of ground realities on Kashmir India’s blunder

Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed, tomorrow, to register protest against the drama being enacted by India in the name of municipal and panchayat elections in the territory.

Call for the shutdown has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik and supported by other organizations including the High Court Bar Association. The four-phase polls will commence from tomorrow. »

Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was put under house arrest on the eve of local bodies and panchayat election drama being enacted in the territory from tomorrow.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued from his residence in Srinagar, today, termed the elections as mockery of democracy. He said that huge deployment of troops had been made, Hurriyat leaders and activists had been arrested while internet had been closed to make the election drama a success. »

Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that the denial of the historical and ground realities and parroting the ‘Atoot Ang’ rhetoric is the biggest blunder India has committed during the past seven decades.

Syed Ali Gilani while commenting on the Governor Satyapal Malik’s recent statement that Kashmir has been mishandled by New Delhi in a statement issued in Srinagar, said, “Kashmir has not only been mishandled but manhandled as well. Governor’s acceptance vindicates our stand.” »

Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a local court in Bandipora district has extended the judicial remand of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Chief, Abdul Samad Inquilabi till October 10.

Abdul Samad Inquilabi was arrested on September 20 from his house and was shifted to Central Jail, Srinagar. »

Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the inhuman treatment meted to the Kashmiri and Pakistani prisoners in Tihal Jail, New Delhi.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar commenting on the information that Pakistani prisoners lodged in Tihar jail were taken out of their barracks in the midnight and physically manhandled and ruthlessly beaten. »

Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid glowing tributes to late Dr Farooq Haider on his death anniversary.

Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Dr Farooq Haider was a legend who till his last breath stood with the Kashmir cause.

Yasin Malik termed Dr Farooq Haider his childhood hero, a legend and a humble son of soil, who died on October 6, 2009 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association has reiterated its pledge to defend the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, through thick and thin.

After taking the oath to their respective posts, newly elected office bearers of Kashmir High Court Bar Association in Srinagar in a statement said, “Our priority is to defend the special status of J&K. We will defend Article 35A and Article 370. Further, we will provide free legal aid to the victims of human right violations.” »
