Srinagar, October 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has denounced the Indian authorities for slapping a sedition case against two Kashmiri students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, condemning the sedition charge, said offering funeral prayers in absentia for a person who was a brilliant student of the institution is no way a crime. The students had offered in absentia the funeral of the ex-university student Dr Mannan Wani. »

Srinagar, October 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has urged India to pay heed to the clear message emanating from the rejection of the election drama by the overwhelming majority of the Kashmiri people.

The leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said the people of Kashmir have no faith in fraud elections, as they are mere a deception played upon them by successive governments in New Delhi to hoodwink the international community.

Srinagar, October 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammed Ashraf Sehrai has strongly condemned the move of AMU administration to suspend two PhD Kashmiri scholars over offering funeral prayers in absentia following the martyrdom of Dr Mannan Wani.

Aligarh, India (KMS): The students of occupied Kashmir, studying at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), have threatened to surrender their degrees in case the suspension of three Kashmiri students was not revoked.

The Kashmiri students in a letter to the AMU proctor, said after killing of Dr Mannan Wani, who was formerly a student at AMU and reports of closure of colleges and universities in Kashmir, the Kashmiri students studying at the University discussed the emerging situation in the valley and were peacefully holding deliberations. »

Srinagar, October 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police slapped five youth with draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) in Bandipora district of north Kashmir for participating in peaceful protest demonstrations.

Those slapped with PSA included Aadil Bashir Butt (21), a resident of Nusoo, Farooq Ahmad Ganai, Sajjad Hussain Ganai, Bilal Ahmad Ganai alias Sahba, residents of Ganai Mohalla Kaloosa and Muhammad Azhar Din Parrey, resident of Chandegeer Hajin and sent to Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu. »
