Srinagar, October 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two youth in Chankitar area of Tral in Pulwama district, Tuesday evening.

The troops martyred the youth during a siege and search operation. Troops also blasted a residential house in the area.

After the killings, the clashes between youth and forces were going on in the area. Military operation was also going on till reports last came in. »

World urged to send fact finding mission to IOK

Srinagar, October 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, scores of people including a journalist were injured after Indian troops fired pellets, bullets and teargas shells on protesters in Shopian, Pulwama and Baramulla districts, today.

People took to the streets in Memander area of Shopian against a cordon and search operation launched by Indian troops. The troops fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters. A TV journalist, Aijaz Ahmed Dar, got injured after being hit by the pellets. He was shifted to district hospital Shopian where doctors said that he had suffered pellet injuries in his head and neck. There are also reports about injuries to many people in forces’ actions on protesters in Mandoora area of Tral and Palhalan in Pattan. The locals were protesting against the door-to-door search searches by the troops. »

Srinagar, October 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, at least eight Indian troops including an officer were injured in a blast at Rajwar in Handwara area of Kupwara district, today.

The blast occurred when an army party of 21 Rashtriya Rifles led by an officer of Major rank Surab Suman was passing through the woods of Rajwar. Eight soldiers including the army major suffered serious injuries in the blast. »

Srinagar, October 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a journalist was injured after he was hit by pellets fired by Indian troops during anti-India demonstrations in Shopian district, today.

People took to the streets when the troops launched a cordon and search operation following an attack on a forces’ party in Memander area of the district. The troops used brute force and fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes in the area. »

Kashmir joint resistance committee constituted in UK

London, October 30 (KMS): Speakers at a seminar urged world centres of political power to prevail upon India to allow a fact finding mission to occupied Kashmir.

The event was organized by South Asia Centre For Peace and Human Rights in connection with Kashmir Black Day in London. The seminar titled “Characteristics of Indian Occupation and the Role of International Community” was presided over by SACFPHR Chairman, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, and moderated by Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, the Chairman of International Commission for Human Rights (ICHR). »
