Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, unknown gunmen shot dead Indian Bharatiya Janata Party state secretary Anil Parihar and his brother in Kishtwar district, Thursday evening.

Reports said that Anil and his elder brother Ajit were killed in the attack that took place near veterinary hospital in the town.

Meanwhile, occupational authorities imposed curfew in Kishtwar town after the incident. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has hailed the recent report of All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Kashmir in the UK Parliament, which expressed concern over the prevailing human rights situation in the territory.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to the international community particularly the UN to fulfill their obligation of holding plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir to enable the Kashmiris decide their fate by themselves. »

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, reacting to the remarks of the Indian ambassador made in the UNGA, said that it was full of lies, deceit, arrogance and persistent denial of basic and ground realities. Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the family members and relatives of a missing Kashmiri student, Ehtisham Bilal, staged a protest demonstration at Press Enclave in Srinagar, today, against his mysterious disappearance in India.

Ehtisham Bilal, a resident of Khanyar area of Srinagar and a first-year student of Medical Imaging Technology, Sharda University, at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, India, is missing since Sunday. Earlier, he was assaulted in clashes between two groups of students at Sharda University on October 4, 2018. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown continues on the second successive day, today, in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killings of two youth by Indian troops.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Chankitar area of Tral on Tuesday.

All shops, business establishments, government and private offices are closed while transport is off the road in Tral town and its adjoining areas in protest against the killing of the youth. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Tral area of Pulwama.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said that bloodbath, death and destruction all around the valley were only because of Indian rulers’ intransigent approach towards the Kashmir dispute. He condemned the use of military power against the civilian population by the Indian forces and said that on the pretext of search and cordon operations common people were targeted deliberately. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred thirty nine (39) Kashmiris including a woman during the last month of October.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, five (5) of those martyred were killed in fake encounters. »
